Partners
Terry Dunne - Managing Partner (terry@wdmca.co.uk)
Terry and Andy are the ones responsible for the creation of this well-oiled machine that you know as WDM. Terry was a partner when WDM was Watson Dunne & Co., and continues to see many clients today who were clients from the beginning, Terry is WDM's managing partner - and managing some of the partners sometimes isn't easy!
We continue to maintain a good working relationship with St. Andrew's Hospice, located here in Lanarkshire. St. Andrew's is Lanarkshire's only Hospice, providing all services free of charge to their patients.
Over 50% of the annual running costs of approximately £2.5Million is raised each year from public donations. Our managing partner, Terry Dunne (terry@wdmca.co.uk), is the chairman on the Hospice Board of Management.

Andy has also been with WDM from the beginning. He has an amazing ability to come in early, meet with five or six clients and perhaps a VAT man, travel overseas and back, play a round of golf with you (while discussing your accounts), work late, and arrive in the office ready to go the next morning! Andy specialises in all the 'extras' - detailed tax changes and tax planning, pension plans, cash flow forecasts and budgeting, and all the details of starting your business. Andy is also our Business Development partner.
Graham Bonomy - Staff Partner/Audit Partner (graham@wdmca.co.uk)
If you've spoken with Graham (or met with him, or seen him in the office) you'll probably agree that he's the most easygoing partner (or team member!) in the office. Ask him how his day is and he'll say 'fantastic'. That's not to say he doesn't get as much work done as anyone else - he just manages to do it without that base level of stress the rest of us can't seem to live without. Graham takes care of some of our larger audits, and makes sure the team doesn't crack up. If you've got a problem that would overwhelm most people, bring it to Graham.
Karen Charnley - Audit Partner (karenc@wdmca.co.uk)
Karen divides her time between travelling halfway across the country for audits, supervising and providing assistance to our team, and providing assistance on our clients' accounting software packages. If SAGE (or your other accounting package) is giving you trouble, most likely Karen will be able to fix it.
Dawn White - Audit Partner (dawn@wdmca.co.uk)
Dawn is the newest partner of the firm and has a portfolio of medium to large businesses. She specialises in monthly monitoring, auditing and tax advice. Dawn has an excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50 and if you have a query on Sage Line 50 we will send you a bottle of champagne if Dawn cannot provide the answer.
Dawn's clients cover the manufacturing, retail, property development and charity sectors with many of these companies requiring an audit.
Dawn proved to be an expert sailor recently on a WDM team building day where she took control and made sure that the boat reached its destination. She can do the same with your business.
Accounts/Audits
Lynn Turner - Accounts Senior (lynn@wdmca.co.uk)
Lynn joined the team in 1991. As well as having extensive experience working with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, Lynn is our resident expert on personal tax (which makes for a busy January!), Away from the office Lynn enjoys an active family life. Craig Gibson - Accounts Assistant (craig@wdmca.co.uk)
After joining us in 2001 Craig has been providing a face to face client service. In addition to preparing accounts, assisting on audits, he is also proficient in SAGE software, Craig is also able to provide assistance with your payroll questions if our payroll team is not available. And if you're looking for some good competition on the golf course, Craig's your man.
Omar Nabi - Accountant BAcc ACCA (omar@wdmca.co.uk)
Joined WDM as a University of Glasgow graduate in 2003 and has since qualified as an ACCA in early 2007. Omar specialises in accounts preparation, VAT, business tax, personal tax and company formation. Omar enjoys playing and watching the gentleman's game ... cricket!
Linzi Smith - Accounts Assistant (linzi@wdmca.co.uk)
Linzi joined us in October 2006 from a large chain of restaurants where she was PA to the Managing Director for 15 years. Linzi has with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in Human Resources, SAGE accounting, payroll and administration. Linzi, away from work is dedicated to her husband and two young boys and living with a house full of males, is one of the few women who can explain the offside rule!

Payroll
Sharon Hastie - Payroll Assistant (sharon@wdmca.co.uk)
Sharon has transitioned into a payroll assistant, and now works Monday through Friday. She assists Mhairi with the task of preparing and issuing the wages for our payroll clients, and is also on-hand to take care of any of your payroll questions. Sharon's a little bit crazy, but definitely fun!

Mhairi is the newest member of the payroll team she has a wealth of experience having worked for many years in a payroll department with a large utilities company.
